In order to promote energy conservation policies implemented in enterprises, some governments have also set up energy conservation consulting agencies. The German government attaches great importance to the construction of energy conservation and emission reduction consulting institutions in the foundry industry. The German Energy Agency, established in 2002, is one of the main tasks of providing energy conservation and emission reduction consultation for enterprises and the public. At the same time, the government encourages the development of small energy-saving consulting agencies. In 1977, Germany also opened the “Energy Manager” training course for the first time in Europe. In 2006, it has been widely promoted in more than 10 countries in the European Union, and more than 600 people have obtained qualifications. There are nearly 400 energy-saving consulting agencies in Germany, which greatly meet the needs of enterprises and the public. Moreover, Germany's energy-saving and emission reduction agencies believe that by strengthening the management of foundry companies, companies can reduce energy consumption by 15% to 20%. Enterprises have sought scientific management methods through specialized energy conservation consulting agencies. Many enterprises adopt contract energy management. On the one hand, developed countries use laws and regulations to force enterprises to carry out energy conservation and emission reduction. On the other hand, they also guide and encourage enterprises to save energy and reduce emissions through taxation policies and marketization mechanisms. Increasing special incentives and adopting special tax policies are one of the important means for developed countries to promote energy conservation and emission reduction.

Germany regards energy conservation and emission reduction as a key research topic, and achieves energy conservation and emission reduction by optimizing process flow, developing new steel products and increasing the recycling rate of waste steel. The patented technology of “Crystal Smoking Dust” developed by Swiss GF can reduce the smelting cost and help solve the dust problem of the foundry. Germany Kunststoff develops biogas purification equipment. The harmful gases generated during the molding of the core are separated from the harmful substances in the exhaust gas by active oxidation of precipitates and moisture, and by biochemical oxidation of trace organic substances. The EU collects the waste heat generated by the factory through the joint venture of member companies and directly supplies it to other manufacturing enterprises or urban energy-consuming equipment.
